Kristy Mangone

Global Teacher

Hello! My name is Kristy Mangone. Originally from New York, I taught high school U.S. History in South Florida for 15 years. I currently live in the beautiful mountains of western North Carolina. I hold a bachelor’s degree in History and a master’s degree in Exceptional Student Education.

Outside of teaching, my family runs a small restaurant, where I enjoy baking many of the cakes alongside my son. In my free time, I love trying new recipes, reading, practicing yoga, and hiking.

My goal is to create a positive, welcoming classroom environment where every learner feels valued, supported, and empowered to express themselves. I am grateful for the opportunity to support my students as they work toward their academic goals, discover their strengths, and look ahead to all that their futures may hold!
