AP Art History

Advanced Placement / High School

This course is designed to provide college-level instruction in art history and prepare students for the AP exam in early May. This course is divided into two 18-week semesters, during which students examine major forms of artistic expression from the past and present and from a variety of cultures. Students learn to look at works of art critically, with intelligence and sensitivity, and to articulate what they see or experience. Prerequisites: World History recommended Credits 1.0
