Hi! I’m Mariana. As an educator, my lifelong passion has been to create meaningful opportunities for students to look beyond the four walls of the classroom, expand their horizons, and grow into confident, compassionate global citizens.
Having served for 14 years as the Middle School Director of Studies at Colegio Marista Manuel Belgrano, and having coordinated international student immersion programs to Ireland since 1999, I have witnessed firsthand the profound transformation that occurs when young people step outside their cultural comfort zones. Education is most powerful when it opens doors to new ways of thinking and living.
Today, entering a new phase of my professional journey, I am proud to lead the implementation of the Dual Diploma Program in partnership with Academica International Studies (AIS). This initiative offers our students the exceptional opportunity to earn an American High School Diploma alongside their local studies.
Rooted in our Marist values, we firmly believe that education must challenge students to develop not only academically but personally and socially. We strive to cultivate autonomous, responsible, creative, and proactive individuals who are prepared to engage open-mindedly with a rapidly changing world. The AIS Dual Diploma Program is a natural extension of this educational vision.
The modern world demands new skills and global perspectives. By encouraging students to take ownership of their learning, master a second language at an academic level, and navigate international environments, we help them move closer to the leaders and global citizens they are capable of becoming.
We believe that the AIS Program will not simply give our students another diploma. It will give them new opportunities and the confidence to imagine possibilities beyond what they may have thought was possible or even ever dreamt about.
