Anila Maya graduated Summa Cum Laude from Arizona State University with a degree in Education. Her professional background includes certifications in the areas of teaching grades k-12, English 6-12, Social Science 6-12, and ESOL. Anila has extensive experience working with culturally and academically diverse students in Gwinnett County Public Schools since 2007 and has specifically taught ESOL students who speak English as a second language in all levels. She transitioned to virtual teaching as a Global Teacher at Academic Virtual Education in 2017.
