My name is Arantza Garcia Sagarna and I was born in Bilbao. I have taught English and Basque for 25 years at Esclavas del Sagrado Corazón School in Bilbao. I am married and mother of three boys aged 17, 13 and 11. I studied English philology at Deusto University in Bilbao. After so many years of teaching I still think my profession is one of the most challenging and exciting. I have also been a tutor to teenagers for most of those years and have had the opportunity of building close relationships with them in order to assist and encourage them to believe in themselves and become upright members of the community.
