My name is Carla Liebo and I was born and raised in Santa Monica, California, but have spent the last twenty-four years of my life in Spain. From an early age I developed a strong interest in learning Spanish, my Argentinian mother´s native language. This personal goal led me to a study abroad program available through Pomona College, my alma mater, which I did in Madrid and later on to a Rotary Scholarship in the capital of Spain as well. Now, I´m back to coastal life, but on the northwest coast of Spain where I continue to enjoy feeling like I´m a part of two countries and two different cultures. I work at Los Sauces School in Vigo as an English teacher, Head of the Foreign Language Department and Dual Diploma Program Director. I couldn´t say which one of those facets I like the best, but I consider myself lucky to be able to surround myself with young people who share their energy and enthusiasm. My hobbies include art, travel, walking on the beach and hiking through the hills, going to the movies and reading.
