Hi everyone! My name is Chantal and I am an “outside-the-box” and passionate English teacher in Bellevue High, Fort-de-France-Martinique in the French West-Indies. This is the first year we are running the Dual Diploma program in our school and I am ever so grateful for the wonderful support we are getting. Our pool of students is small with perspective of a larger one next year as so many students have already shown interest as the participants acknowledge the opportunity it represents and talk about it with such enthusiasm: we are all so excited! As a teacher, I specialize in US Civilization. Before settling in Martinique as a teacher, I used to work as a hotel manager in the UK and a FOH Manager at Christie’s: very different trades! I used to travel to the US for work and pleasure a great deal and discover the world. I am passionate about Arts: painting, sculpture, opera and classical music and I love reading. I try and travel as much as possible and spent an unforgettable fortnight in Italy last summer with my son. Back to Dual Diploma, I am looking forward to seeing our students blossom and their number grow; of course, hopefully participate to the graduation ceremony in the US and meet as many graduates and team members as possible.
