Clara Riquito Tavares

My name is Clara and I am from Portugal.  I chose to attend AIS to challenge myself beyond the standard curriculum, strengthen my English skills, and gain a more international academic perspective.  This experience has pushed me to become more disciplined, independent, and confident in my abilities.  Beyond academics, a big part of my life is dance sport, especially Latin styles. I train six days a week for around three hours each day, which has become not only a passion but also a fundamental part of who I am. Through dance, I express myself, relieve stress, and continuously challenge my limits. It has taught me resilience, commitment, and how to stay motivated even when things get difficult.  AIS has also helped me reflect on my future academic path. It made me realize that I would be open to studying at a university in Portugal, in an international or English-taught program, as I really enjoy learning in English and appreciate an international learning environment. I am grateful for the opportunity to be part of this school, as it continues to shape both my academic growth and my future goals.
