Advance Topics in Mathematics is a course designed for students who are following the Algebra- Geometry-Algebra II sequence and have successfully completed a year in each of those courses. Furthermore, this course is designed for students who are capable of a more advanced course at a normal pace. Students are expected to study and complete all homework assigned for this course. Emphasis will be on practical applications and modeling throughout the course of study. Oral and written communication concerning the language of algebra, logic of procedures, and interpretation of results will also be required during the course. Credits 1.0
