The purpose of this course is to increase reading fluency and endurance through integrated experiences in the language arts and preparation for college level aptitude exams. This course incorporates reading and analysis of literary and informational selections to develop critical and close reading skills and help prepare students for the demands of college and careers. Students will closely read and analyze a variety of texts and utilize online resources, including but not limited to, SAT preparatory resources through College Board. Prerequisites: None. Credits .5
