I’m excited to step into the role of Dual Diploma Director. My journey in education has been unique, driven by a love for languages, a global outlook, and a passion for how we learn.
I started teaching in Scotland after earning my PGCE from the University of Strathclyde in 2000, focusing on French and Classics. These subjects opened the door to deeper cultural understanding. Over the years, I’ve taught in many settings—from historic UK classrooms to leading a middle school in Geneva for more than a decade. These experiences shaped my belief in the power of cross-cultural education and student-focused leadership.
I speak four languages and love to travel, which helps me bring a global perspective to teaching. I’m also fascinated by neuroscience and how it can improve learning. I’m a lifelong reader—and in my free time, I even enjoy playing the alphorn, celebrating Swiss cultural traditions!
This new role brings together everything I care about: teaching, leadership, languages, and global citizenship. I’m excited to support our students in their bilingual journey and help them succeed.
Thank you for the warm welcome! I look forward to working together to inspire curiosity and resilience in every student.
