Hello, my name is Julia Pfleger, I am sixteen years old, and I am in my second year at AIS. Germany is my home country where the famous ’’Oktoberfest’’ is celebrated. In my free time, I listen to music, help my grandma on a farm where the only animal which is still alive is a chicken and I like reading or drawing as well. I also participate in a mentoring program for students interested in science. To improve my English, learn new things, have subjects that my other school does not have and to train skills like time management, I joined the AIS Dual Diploma program. Since I joined, it was way easier for me to get good grades such as As in English. I have also learned a lot about the work of an engineer and what it feels like to participate in a learning program which allows you to grow on new challenges. The improvement of my English, skills like time management and learning things on my own as well as the various ways of learning and my new knowledge are the things, I appreciate most about my AIS journey.
