My name is Madison Densmore. I was born in the United States but I have been working as in English teacher in Lyon, France, for the past six years. I have a Master’s degree in Modern Languages (French and Spanish) from the University of Mississippi and a Master’s in Education (MEEF) from the Université Catholique in Lyon. I am also working on a doctorate in Comparative Literature which should be completed in 2025.
Currently, I serve as an English teacher at Lycée Saint-Louis/Saint Bruno in Lyon, where I primarily teach grade 12, the LLCE speciality, and our Advanced American English (AAE) option. I am also the coordinator for our dual diploma program at our high school, and I greatly enjoy helping students meet their goals of completing the program and of applying to colleges and universities in the United States, as well as accompanying them in our exchange program with an American high school in West Des Moines, Iowa.
Beyond teaching, I love listening to and playing music, painting, sports, my cat, and, of course, my French husband.
