The School Advisory Council (SAC) is a school-based group that represents the school, the students, the parents, and the community. The SAC works together to advise and guide the school toward continuous improvement using school climate surveys, relevant school data, and the school improvement plan. The council includes parents, teachers, education support employees and leaders, community members, students, and the principal. The majority of members are not school employees. The SAC meets periodically throughout the school year during October, February, and April and works collaboratively toward school improvement.
