Alyssa Wallace

Global Teacher

My name is Alyssa Wallace. I am an enthusiastic educator with several years’ experience teaching in Florida. I knew from an early age that education was the field I was most enthusiastic about. I joined Future Educators of America in the fifth grade and continued to learn about the field of education through different programs in High School. I have a bachelor’s degree from Fort Lewis College in Durango, Colorado, and did all my classroom teaching in Jacksonville, Florida. I am extremely excited to now be a virtual teacher and continue my journey with Academica International Studies.

I now live in Miami, Florida, with my partner, my two stepsons, and my two dogs. I am an extremely proud mom of two daughters who are now 23 and 21. My oldest daughter graduated from Florida Atlantic University with a nursing degree and is now working at a hospital here in Miami. My youngest daughter is in school at the University of South Florida in Tampa, Florida, studying medicine as well. When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, going to the beach, working out, and cooking.
