Amanda Getter

Global Teacher

I was born and raised in Kissimmee, Florida, which is just outside of Orlando, and currently live there with my extended family. You’ll find out pretty quickly that I am a lover of all things geeky and pop culture. I attended the University of Central Florida where I graduated with my bachelor’s degree in English Language Arts Education. I have education certifications in English 6-12 and Social Science 6-12, with endorsements in ESOL, Reading, and Gifted. Previously I have taught in public school at the high school and middle school levels, and I am passionate about being a Global Teacher at Academica International Studies (AIS)!
