Kelley Suarez

Global Teacher

My name is Kelley Suarez. I graduated from the University of Miami in 2008 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology and a minor in History. From there, I went on to attain a Master’s Degree in Social Work in 2010. I worked as a social worker in various educational settings prior to becoming a full-time teacher in 2017. I have earned Florida teacher certifications in Secondary English, Secondary Social Studies, Elementary Education, and School Social Work. I also hold an endorsement in English for Speakers of Other Languages.

I am originally from Miami, Florida, but currently reside in Orlando, Florida with my husband, our three children, and our Siberian cat, Chip. When I am not teaching, I enjoy dining out, reading, and traveling. Being an educator is one of the greatest joys of my life and I am passionate about forming meaningful relationships with my classroom family.
