Luanne Shear

Global Teacher

My name is Luanne Shear, and I have been an educator for over a decade. I earned a Bachelor’s degree in English and Arts and Humanities from Florida Atlantic University as well a Master’s degree in Curriculum and Instruction. The majority of my teaching experience has been with high school English students, and I have also served as a Language Arts Department Chairperson for four years. I am so excited and honored to be a part of the Dual Diploma family and connect with the amazing students in this program.
I currently live in Deerfield Beach, Florida with my husband and son. Although Florida has a lot of rainy days, we try and engage in outdoor activities and spend time in the ocean as much as possible. Taking care of our environment and planet is something I enjoy discussing with my students as well.
