My name is Mayte Avedo-Rodriguez. I live in Miami, Florida with my husband, two children, and two dogs. I attended Florida International University where I earned a bachelor’s degree in Education.  I continued to further my education by attaining a master’s degree in Reading Education from Barry University.  I have worked in the field of education for over 20 years in various roles, from a pre-school Spanish teacher to an administrator, and just about everything in between. These undertakings have provided a valuable collection of teaching experiences which I am honored to share with my Dual Diploma students.
