Hello! My name is Jameson Webb and I am from Dallas, Texas, USA. I have a bachelor’s degree in History with minors in Secondary Education, Spanish and a master’s degree in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I am in my 10th year of education (Spain and in the US) and am currently teaching English and am the Program Director of the Dual Diploma Program at Colegio Santa María de la Hispanidad in Madrid. This is our first year with the program with 23 students enrolled. As a former teacher in Dallas and lifelong student in the US education system, I know first-hand how valuable this program can be to our students regarding learning a new culture, new education system and also improving their level of English. What I love about the program is that the students are learning essential skills that they will need not only in school, but also in their professional lives. Such as, reading and responding to emails, organizing online meetings, communicating with others if they have doubts, improving their time management, etc. AND it’s all in English. Whether our students eventually study in the US or not, I am 100% certain, that this program will help prepare them for the future and help them stand out from the rest when they enter the workforce. We’ve had a great experience with the program and hope that enrollment will increase in the following school years!
