Cindy Osorio

Cindy Osorio graduated from The American College of Education with a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. She is also a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education. Her professional background includes certifications in the areas of ESOL, Gifted Instruction, English grades 6th – 9th, English 9th – 12th, and Social Science 6th -12th. Early in her career, she spent two years as a paraprofessional. In 2010 she was recognized as the “Rookie Teacher of the Year” at Pinecrest Preparatory Middle-High. In addition to classroom instruction she has served as the English Department head, and spear headed the literacy initiative. Cindy has also lead several extracurricular activities such as FEA, Book Club, the spelling bee, talent show, girls dance team, girls HS soccer team and many more. She is currently a Global teacher for Academica Virtual Education’s Dual Diploma program, and was awarded the “Rookie Teacher of the Year” in 2016.
