Academica Dual Diploma 15 years
It began as a pilot program, with seven students in a small region of northern Spain, and today, it is one of the largest educational networks in the world, with thousands of students who have graduated from Academica International Studies (AIS) in more than 30 countries. Students who participate in the Academica Dual Diploma™ Program earn an accredited US High School Diploma issued by AIS upon successful completion of all Florida high school graduation requirements. Students simultaneously work to earn their home country secondary diploma issued by the student’s home country school. AIS is a multilingual, multicultural network, and a pioneering educational program that prepares students to face the challenges of the future. 97% of AIS students surveyed responded that they would recommend AIS to other students!
The success of the program has been due, in large part, to its unique balance of instructional support and student autonomy. From the beginning, the program has sought to provide international students with the critical tools necessary to become self-directed, life-long learners while ensuring that they are supported every step of the way.
