Hi! My name is Josefina Garay Diehl. I am 16 years old, and I live in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I am in my junior year of high school, and this is my last year of the Dual Diploma Program.
I enrolled in the Dual Diploma Program with the aim of earning an American High School Diploma and improving my English. However, apart from gaining confidence when speaking in English, I have acquired valuable skills for my future. I have also become a much more independent and responsible student.
My favorite sport is horseback riding, more specifically showjumping. I have a horse called Victoria and we compete almost every weekend. I also enjoy reading. I believe that books open doors to other worlds while allowing us to better understand ourselves and those around us. I am a very curious person and I love asking questions about how the universe and nature work. Unfortunately, some of those questions still do not have an answer and that is why I would like to become a scientist. My dream is to discover or invent something that improves people’s lives all over the world.
