My name is Kelly Rodriguez and I am thrilled to be your Global Teacher. I live in north central Massachusetts, about 65 kilometers west of Boston. My husband and I spend every August in the coastal northwest corner of Galicia, Spain, where my in-laws were born and where we still have family and friends.
In addition to my Bachelor’s degree in English Communication, I have a Master’s degree in Education, with a concentration in English. I am a lifelong learner and I continue to take courses beyond my Master’s in topics related to project-based learning, language acquisition, literacy, and technology. I am certified in English and Social Sciences and I hold license endorsements in English for Speakers of Other Languages and Gifted Education.
In 2018, I was honored to be named the AVE Global Dual Diploma Teacher of the Year.
In my spare time, I enjoy traveling, cooking, photography, and spending time with family and friends.
