Cindy Osorio

Global Teacher

Cindy Osorio graduated from The American College of Education with a Masters degree in Educational Leadership. She is also a graduate of Florida International University with a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education.  Her professional background includes certifications in the areas of ESOL, Gifted Instruction, English grades 6^th – 9^th, English 9^th – 12^th, and Social Science 6^th -12^th.  Early in her career, she spent two years as a paraprofessional.  In 2010 she was recognized as the “Rookie Teacher of the Year” at Pinecrest Preparatory Middle-High.  In addition to classroom instruction, she is a happy wife and proud mother of three children.  She is currently a Global teacher for Academica Virtual Education’s Dual Diploma program and was awarded the “Rookie Teacher of the Year” in 2016 and Global Teacher of the Year in 2022.
