David “Dave” Moak

Greetings! My name is Dave Moak, and I am delighted to be a teacher with the Dual Diploma Program. I was born in the UK and grew up in Virginia, and now I live in Waterville, Ohio, with my dog Penny. I received a bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Pittsburgh and completed my education training at Indiana Wesleyan University.

My teaching philosophy is embodied in a quote from Albert Einstein, who was a teacher as well as a famous scientist. He said, “I never teach my pupils. … I only attempt to provide the conditions in which they can learn.”
