Elizabeth Hickerson resides in Tampa, Florida. While living in Tampa, she has taught in both charter and traditional public education. She graduated from the University of Rochester in upstate New York. She believes that with the proper support, every student is capable of success. Her goal is to assist students in living up to his or her potential.

Elizabeth is a mother of two boys, a high school senior and a freshman in college. Her husband, Scott works as a Civil Engineer at the water management district. She enjoys reading, traveling, and loves to be outdoors.
